The former Secretary of the Borno State Government, Alhaji Usman Jidda Shuwa, has gone away.
Shuwa, who was Governor Babagana Umara Zulum’s SSG till May 28, passed away on May 28 following a brief illness.
He passed away this evening at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH), according to a source close to the family.
Shuwa had an exceptional history of service at the state and federal levels and a lot of knowledge as an excellent administrator.
He was born in 1958 and died in his 65th year.
The funeral plans are anticipated to be announced by the state administration soon.
