BREAKING NEWS: Federal Government Launches Search for New Permanent Secretaries
Abuja, Nigeria – The Federal Government has announced the commencement of a nationwide search for new Permanent Secretaries to fill vacancies in eight states. This move is aimed at strengthening the federal civil service and ensuring effective governance.
According to a memo released by the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, the search is targeted at filling existing and impending vacancies in Abia, Bayelsa, Ebonyi, Enugu, Gombe, Kaduna, Kebbi, and Rivers states.
To be eligible, applicants must meet specific criteria, including being indigenes of the listed states, having attained the position of substantive Director on Salary Grade Level 17 before January 1, 2022, and having updated their records on the IPPIS verification portal.
The Federal Government has assured that the selection process will be transparent and merit-based, with a focus on appointing highly qualified and dedicated individuals to drive the nation’s development agenda.
