Popular Nigerian singer, Adekunle Kosoko, also known as Adekunle Gold, has reacted to the amounts the Premier League club, Chelsea, is spending on signing new players in 2023/2024 transfer window.
The London club had spent over €300 million on transfers so far during the 2023 summer window.
Their latest signing, Moises Caicedo arrived from Brighton on a British-record transfer fee of €116m (£100m), which is likely to reach €133m (£115m) with achievable add-ons.
Reacting to the team’s spending via his X Account formerly Twitter, Adekunle Gold, a Premier League rivals Manchester United fan, said Chelsea had ruined the sport with their extravagant spending.
The singer wrote: “Man! Chelsea ruined the market this season! Where una see money?”
