Daring Police Dismantle Dangerous Den: Ritualist and Gang Caught with Human Hair and Arsenal

In a stunning crackdown, the Delta State Police Command has apprehended a notorious ritualist, Favour Eze, along with an alarming collection of human hair, a homemade firearm, and illicit substances believed to be Loud. The 24-year-old suspect from Amasiri Village was nabbed during a meticulous stop-and-search operation by the Dragon Tactical Patrol Teams on the Ogwashi-Uku/Kwale Road.

The red commercial Toyota Sienna, a vessel of vice ferrying passengers from Asaba to Warri, became the scene of the startling discovery when the vigilant officers conducted their search. The concealed contraband, hidden within a bag of clothes, unveiled the grim reality of the suspect’s intentions.

The police’s relentless pursuit of justice didn’t stop there. A special team, spearheaded by the astute ASP Julius Robinson, descended upon Oghara town. Their mission, fueled by technically generated intelligence, led to the capture of a 28-year-old Eiye Confraternity affiliate. This suspect’s confession drew back the curtain to a hotel at Koko Junction, where another Eiye member, aged 46, was seized, and an automatic pump action gun was seized.

The domino effect of the investigation continued as the duo’s testimonies directed the law enforcers to Sapele, Delta State. There, a 32-year-old was arrested, and a new AK-47 rifle, along with an empty magazine, was recovered. The preliminary probe has linked these individuals to a spate of kidnappings terrorizing Ughelli, Warri, Sapele, and surrounding areas.

The suspects are now securely behind bars, and the investigation is vigorously ongoing. The command’s Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, has confirmed these developments, assuring the public of the police’s unwavering commitment to safety and order.
