Davido and Chioma welcome twins in the U.S.

Nigerian-American superstar singer, Davido, and his wife, Chioma, have become proud parents of twins. The couple reportedly gave birth to a boy and a girl in the United States on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.

This comes as a joyful news for the fans and family of the couple, who tragically lost their son, Ifeanyi, in October last year at their Banana Island, Lagos residence. The cause of Ifeanyi’s death was not disclosed to the public.

Music executive, Ovie, confirmed the news of the twins’ birth in a post via X on Tuesday. He wrote: “Confirmed. Davido and Chioma. Double blessings.”

Davido and Chioma have not announced the birth on social media yet, but sources close to them say they are overjoyed and grateful for their new bundles of joy.

The couple got married in a traditional ceremony in September 2019, after dating for over two years. They had their first child, Ifeanyi, in October 2019.

Davido is one of the most successful and influential artists in Africa, with multiple awards and international collaborations. He is also the founder and CEO of Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), a record label that houses artists like Mayorkun, Peruzzi, Dremo, and others.

Chioma is a chef and entrepreneur, who runs a catering business called The Chef Chi. She also has a cooking show on YouTube and a cookbook in the works.

We congratulate Davido and Chioma on their twins and wish them all the best.
