The Director General of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), Prof. Abubakar O. Sulaiman, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Sarkin Gobir, Captain Muhammad Ahmad Yusuf-Gobir.
In a heartfelt message, Prof. Sulaiman described the late Captain as a man of great integrity, leadership, and service whose contributions to the nation and his community will never be forgotten.
Prof. Sulaiman noted that Captain Muhammad Ahmad Yusuf-Gobir’s dedication to the welfare of his people was exemplary, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire future generations. “His remarkable service to the nation, particularly his role as Sarkin Gobir, has impacted many, and he will be sorely missed,” he said.
The Director General further prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the Gobir family the strength to bear the irreplaceable loss. He also offered prayers for the late Captain, asking Allah to forgive his shortcomings and reward his good deeds with eternal rest in Al-Jannah Firdaus.
