DNA: Ooni Hosts, Renames AmericansWith Ile-Ife Root (Photos)

The Ooni of Ile-Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, on Tuesday, performed host to some Americans who traced their root to the Kingdom of Ile-Ife

The Americans had been led to the Ooni through the Asoju Asa of Ile Oodua, Ambassador Dotun Taylor.

The Ooni burdened the excitement that comes with figuring out the root of one’s origin.

In his words, “If you take a closer appear at yourselves in comparison to your kinsmen and ladies here, you will agree with me that there is no difference between us.

“The sole difference is that my forefathers missed the boat that yours caught up with.

Furthermore, “So, my pricey children, you are welcome domestic and I pray that the meaningful names you are being bestowed with these days will take place in all your endeavours.

Finally, he said “Luckily for you, your source (Ile-Ife) which is inside the Federal Republic of Nigeria is filled with lovely humans and it’s a very protected environment,”.

He entreated them to increase their financial presence in Ile-Ife and make the most of the various investment opportunities.

Early, Taylor defined that the traffics convinced that they are African beginning after a scientific test, popularly recognised as “Ancestral DNA”, demonstrated that they have excessive attention to the African gene.

However, speaking on behalf of the Americans, Mrs Delzora Dotson, who is now to be addressed as Mrs Delzora Omotilewa Dotson, described the journey as worthwhile.

Dotson stated she can’t wait to inform her buddies and family contributors about her discovery.

“Right now, I am feeling the connection of origination and I am glad to be returned home,” she said.
