Drake wins $2.7m as Israel beats Pereira

American rapper Drake was the talk of the UFC 287 event following his impressive $ 2.7 million win.

Thanks to Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya’s victory in a re-match against Alex Pereira, today 9th April.

Adesanya beat Pereira to reclaim the 185lb title just five months after losing to him in a previous challenge.

Despite losing $ 1.6 million when Adesanya failed to win during the first fight, Drake placed a $500,000 bet on him.
Victory in the re-match won him $885,000.

According to reports, he had also placed a $400,000 bet on Adesanya winning by knockout, which returned a massive $ 1.8 million.

Following the event, fans were eager to see if the rapper had anything to say about his big win.
