In the heart of ILORIN, the Nigeria Nationwide League 1 (NLO 1) witnessed a day packed with action, goals, and missed opportunities as teams battled for supremacy on Day 2 of the league.
In the first encounter, Dohz FA and NA Royal FC showcased their skills, ultimately settling for a 2-2 draw. Segun Gideon and Agboola Samuel found the net for Dohz FA, while Adam Ibrahim struck twice, including a penalty, for NA Royal FC.
SGFC Athletics faced La Planet FC in a tightly contested match, with Victor Peter’s late goal securing a 1-0 victory for La Planet FC.
The spotlight shifted to Barrier SC and ABS Feeders FC, where Barrier SC missed a golden opportunity to clinch victory as Momolosho Eyitayo’s penalty kick veered wide. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, with Adam Haji converting a penalty for Barrier SC and Arinze Oyota doing the same for ABS Feeders FC.
In another thrilling encounter,  KFA overcame Laycon with Azeez Sodiq’s early goal, and an own goal from Lawal Monsuru while Olaniyan Moshood reduced the defeat by lobbying the ball over KFA’s goalkeeper which made the game ended 2-1 in Favour of KFA
Meanwhile, Offa FC and Abraysports battled to a 1-1 draw, with Moshood Taiye and Olatunji Subomi getting on the scoresheet for their respective teams.
