The Kwara Kiddies YEG League has announced that the League Cup will commence on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, as part of preparations for the upcoming season.
The League Cup will serve as the curtain-raiser for the second edition of the league. The opening game will feature Achievers FA against newcomers SGFC Athletics, while other fixtures will follow in subsequent days, leading up to the second round.
However, the league board has also emphasized the need for proper documentation and registration of players during the championship, encouraging teams to cooperate with league officials in the process.
In anticipation of the league cup, the Kwara Kiddies League has also announced a new partnership with Valiant FC, which will sponsor all the Man of the Match awards during the championship.
Additionally, CYTECK Engineering Construction and Technology Limited has been announced as the major sponsor of the league, expanding their involvement after sponsoring many Man of the Match awards in the previous season.
