Family Of Three Die In Car Crash Going for A Burial

Reports suggest that Baba Dara was driving his wife, son, and another relative in a Sienna bus en route to Abia State for burial on Wednesday, April 26.

Dara, who was in front of two other drivers in separate vehicles, reportedly attempted to stop to avoid a pothole around Village 49.

When he did, the vehicle behind him rammed into his car, causing Dara to lose control and crash into the road divider.

Eyewitness, Akindele, who was returning from Akure, said the incident occurred around 10 am, and the impact of the crash killed Dara, his wife, and his son.

Akindele mentioned that the two drivers in the other cars were carrying pepper, drinks, yam, and fruits, including bananas.

The collision made Baba Dara’s car rammed into the road divider, causing it to tumble and drag for a short distance, which decapitated the car. The family died on the spot.

Other victims in the Sienna bus, who reportedly survived the crash, were seen wailing while the police from the Onipetesi Division were investigating the accident.
