Comedian Abdullateef Muhammed, popularly known as Tojubole or Iroyin Kayefi, has been accused of collecting N100,000 from a lady, identified as Adelicious101, to make her a star in the movie industry.
Adelicious101 made the allegations on her social media handle while calling out Tojubole and hurling insults at him for not fulfilling his promise to her.
However, Tojubole has denied the allegations, stating that he did not collect money from any lady to make her a star.
He also explained that his tight schedule has been the reason why he has not been able to deliver on his promises to the lady.
Adelicious101 claimed that Tojubole requested that they meet face-to-face since she was not sure if he was the one speaking to her on the phone.
He informed her to travel to Ogbomosho in Oyo state, where she met with him. She also claimed that they lodged in the same hotel room and had sex while at the hotel location in Ogbomosho.
After their intimate encounter, Adelicious101 revealed that Tojubole claimed to have tried getting her jobs but to no avail. She stated that upon leaving the hotel, she informed him that she needed money for transport but was only offered N10,000, which was part of the N100,000 she claimed to have given him.
The allegations have caused a stir on social media with many people reacting to the story. While some are sympathetic towards Tojubole’s plight, others have called for an investigation into the allegations.
Tojubole has pleaded with Adelicious101 to stop spoiling his reputation. In a video that surfaced online, he was seen weeping while begging the public to intervene.
The situation has also caused a rift between him and his wife, who is said to have left him following the allegations.
The issue brings to the fore the controversy surrounding the Nigerian entertainment industry, where aspiring stars are often taken advantage of by established figures.
