FREEZER HORROR: Woman arrested after cops find man’s chopped-up Body in Brooklyn Apartment

A woman is facing charges after police discovered a man’s severed head and dismembered body in a freezer in her Brooklyn apartment, authorities said Tuesday.

The gruesome discovery was made around 6:15 a.m. Monday, when officers responded to a tip about a possible corpse being “stored” in a fourth-floor unit on Nostrand Avenue near Farragut Road in Flatbush, NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said.

“During patrol’s investigation, they came across some body parts in the freezer,” Kenny told reporters. “At this point, we’re trying to identify that person.”

The refrigerator was taped shut to mask the smell of the decomposing remains, sources said. “We have a head. We have some limbs,” Kenny said. “As of right now, it seems like we have the whole body.”

The woman, whose name and age were not released, was inside the apartment when police arrived and was taken into custody on several outstanding warrants for petty theft, sources said.

She has not been charged in connection with the grisly find, but investigators want to question her about her relationship with the victim and the motive for the killing, Kenny said.

The city Medical Examiner’s office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death, as well as the identity of the victim, Kenny said.
