Governor Abdulrahman Champions Youth Football With Kwara/FA Sports U-18 Scouting Event

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State, in partnership with FA Sports from Lagos, is set to launch the inaugural U-18 Kwara State/FA Sports Scouting Program 2024. The event, organized through the Kwara State Sports Commission led by Mallam Bola Mogaji, aims to nurture young football talent in the region.

Initially scheduled for May 14th-17th, 2024, the tournament will now take place from July 16th to 18th, 2024, at the Kwara State Stadium Complex in Ilorin. This three-day event is designed to provide a platform for young footballers to showcase their skills and promote grassroots sports development.

The scouting program will feature teams from across Kwara State, including Kwara Football Academy, LA Planet Sports Academia, SGFC Athletics Sports Club, Offa FC, Laycon FA, Star Builders FC, Na Royal FC, Dickalo FC, Dohz FC, ABS FC, Dolly P FC, and Abray Sports FC. These teams will have the opportunity to display their football artistry to invited recruitment specialists from FA Sports.

The event will include a series of matches and scouting sessions led by experienced scouts, to identify and foster top football talents in the state. Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s collaboration with FA Sports underscores his commitment to youth development and sports promotion in Kwara State.

This initiative is crucial for the development of Kwara State as it aims to uplift local talents and provide them with opportunities to advance their football careers.
