Governor Sanwo-Olu Offers Prayers In Church And Mosque

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo Olu, started the new year with a message of religious harmony and unity. He shared his experience of joining both Christian and Muslim prayers at the Lagos House on his Twitter account.

“Starting 2024 with a humble heart, I joined the Christian prayers at Lagos House Chapel. Our commitment to religious unity paves the way for progress in Lagos State,” he tweeted.

He also posted a picture of himself with the Christian leaders and worshippers at the chapel.

In another tweet, he said, “Continuing in the spirit of harmony, I participated in the Muslim prayers at Lagos House Mosque. Let’s embrace our shared beliefs and thrive together in 2024.”

He attached another picture of himself with the Muslim leaders and faithfuls at the mosque.

The governor’s gesture was well received by many of his followers, who praised him for his inclusiveness and tolerance. Some also prayed for his success and the prosperity of Lagos State.
