Every 29th of March is all about the president-elect of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Dr. ( Mrs) Abdulwaheed Fatimah Durotoye.

In a statement released by Tinubu today on Instagram, he said: “ I thank God Almighty for the life He has given me, for all the opportunities and doors He has opened to me along the way.”

“Yet, this is my first birthday as the President-elect. A few weeks back, Nigerians gave me the honor of a lifetime. In exactly two months, on the 29th of May, my term in office will begin. It is a rare privilege indeed, and one that I do not take lightly and shall not squander.

“This year, in particular, I see this day as one of deep reflection. The spiritual meaning and significance of the holy month of Ramadan matter to me much more than the celebration of any individual milestone.

He further appreciated all his fans, family, and well-wishers for their support all the time.

He stated, “I thank all of you who have expressed your goodwill towards me on the occasion of my 71st birthday. I received your kind words with great pleasure and was profoundly touched by the depth of your care and support.

Dr. ( Mrs) Abdulwaheed Fatimah said, “I feel so special today cos am celebrating my birthday during the holy month of Ramadan, and I have a strong belief that Allah answered my prayers.

“An expression of gratitude to Almighty Allah for his bounties, sustenance, and blessing in my life. To every who wished me well this day, jazakumlahu khaira jazahh. May Allah make u av a longer life than our parents and may we not have any cause to bury any of our children bijahi rosul.

She appreciated all her well-wishers, family, and friends for their messages, gifts, and prayers among others.

She set a message to Muslim brothers and sisters, “To my Muslim brothers and sisters, let us keep in line with the tradition of our prophet Muhammed s.a.w by abstaining from backbiting and all sort of things that will tarnish our image in the day of accountability. Celebrating a birthday during this holy month is a great opportunity to 4give and ask for forgiveness 4rm Allah and we should focus on positive things.”
