Hilda Baci Receives Official Confirmation from Guinness World Records for Cooking Feat

Guinness World Records made an exciting announcement on Tuesday, declaring Hilda Baci as the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.

In a statement released on their website, the GWR confirmed that Hilda Effiong Bassey, widely known as Hilda Baci, has officially shattered the previous record, clocking an impressive time of 93 hours and 11 minutes.

Hilda Baci, a talented 26-year-old chef from Nigeria, embarked on her remarkable cooking journey on Thursday, May 11, and tirelessly continued until Monday, May 15. Throughout the span of her four-day kitchen endeavor, Hilda managed to prepare and cook over 100 pots of food, showcasing her exceptional culinary skills and endurance.

Initially aiming to set a record of 100 hours, Hilda encountered a minor setback when she unintentionally miscalculated the duration of one of her rest breaks early in the attempt.

Consequently, nearly seven hours were deducted from her final total. Nonetheless, her unwavering dedication and exceptional performance throughout the cooking marathon solidified her position as the new Guinness World Record holder.

Hilda Baci’s achievement not only highlights her remarkable cooking abilities but also serves as an inspiration to aspiring chefs and individuals around the world. Her incredible feat demonstrates the power of determination, perseverance, and passion for one’s craft.
