Honest Tricycle Rider Who Returned N15m Gets Four Wives, Out Of Ten Women

A 22-year-old commercial tricycle rider in Kano, Auwalu Salisu, who returned N15 million to the owner who forgot the money in his tricycle, has been offered four women to marry by a matchmaking marriage association.

Salisu found the money, which included some CFA currency, in his tricycle after dropping off a passenger who turned out to be from the Republic of Chad. He traced the owner and returned the money to him.

His act of honesty and integrity attracted the attention of many people, including government officials, groups and individuals, who rewarded him with various gifts, such as a new tricycle, cash and certificates of commendation.

One of the groups that honoured him was the Kano Matchmaking Marriage Association, also known as Mai Dalilin Aure, which promised him four women for marriage to be selected from 10 women.

The chairman of the association, Alhaji Mukhtar Inuwa Yakasai, said that the group decided to honour Salisu because he displayed the good character of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). He said that among the 10 women, two were his daughters.

“The boy has shown the good character of our Noble Prophet, Muhammad (SAW). He is indeed trustworthy. That is why we have decided to honour him with these gifts,” Yakasai said on Freedom Radio, Kano.

“There are 10 women for him to select four. Two of them are my daughters.”
