Famous Nigerian music producer and record label owner, Don Jazzy, has made headlines once again.
In a recent interview with DOYIN’S CORNER on the 22nd of April, the talented musician revealed his deepest regret – having alteration with Olamide Baddo at the 2015 Headies Awards.
In today’s society, role models are often put on pedestals and expected to be perfect, with every action and decision they make scrutinized by the public eye.
Don Jazzy, being no exception to this rule, has openly admitted that he made a mistake having a shake-up with Olamide Baddo at the Headies Awards, an action which he deeply regrets to this day.
Fans of both musicians will recall the heated feud that broke out between them at the awards ceremony six years ago, with Olamide Baddo expressing his disappointment that Don Jazzy’s protege, Reekado Banks, won the coveted award for Next Rated Artiste over his then newly-signed artiste, Lil Kesh.
Even though the two have since reconciled and moved on from the incident, Don Jazzy’s admission of regret over the events of that night has come as a surprise to many.
It goes to show that even the most successful among us are still human and prone to making mistakes.
