I will empower him to achieve his dream—ACC

Alloy Chukwuemeka, The Director of Football at ABS Ilorin FC, has promised to support the football career of Ahmad Kewugbemi, the Most Valuable Player at the Kwara under 12 YEG League, for his spectacular performance at the just concluded league season.

Chief Alloy, a Special guest during the End of the Season and Award Ceremony, appreciated the Kwara Football Association chairman, Mr Abdullah Idris Thuraya, and the league’s organizers and players. He expressed his admiration for the talent and prospect of Ahmad Kewugbemi, who performed brilliantly during the last league match of the season where Kwara Football Academy Emerged as league champions. He vowed to encourage him just like he has done for other players who are now in better places.

 

He promised, “We would give him a scholarship to ABS FC, and he will play among big boys. We will take him to the national team and abroad.”

He admonished the players not to neglect academics for football or football for academics because talent rules the world, but education enhances it.

In an interview section after the ceremony, one of the interviewees, Mr Akorede, commended the spirit of Humanity in Mr Alloy; in fact, Mr Akorede called him a “star maker” for his efforts in developing football in Nigeria and helping footballers to realize their goals.
