Ibandan Explosion: BON Hotel Manager Dies Of Heart Attack

A tragic death has occurred in the aftermath of the devastating explosion that rocked Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Tuesday night.

The Operations Manager of BON Hotel Nest Ibadan, Mr. Tunde Solomon, died of a heart attack on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, following the shock he experienced from the blast that occurred near his workplace.

The explosion, which occurred on Dejo Oyelese Street, Bodija, claimed several lives, injured over 77 people, and destroyed many buildings in the area.

The hotel management announced the sad news of Mr. Solomon’s demise on their Instagram page, bonhotelibadan, where they paid tribute to him as a selfless and dedicated worker who had spent 25 years in the industry.
