The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibadan Zonal Command has released 58 out of 69 students of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun, arrested on Wednesday morning.
The students were arrested by officials of the commission in a midnight raid on off-campus hostels.
58 of the students were released late Wednesday while there are ongoing talks to ensure the freedom of the remaining 11.
The Pristinegist earlier reported that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested 69 suspected internet fraudsters in Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile Ife.
