JUST IN: Tinubu Returns To Nigeria After 10 Days In Europe

 

President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to the country after 10 days visit to Europe.

According to TheCable, Tinubu met with Rabiu Kwankwaso, the New Nigeria Peoples Party’s (NNPP) presidential candidate, who might serve in his administration’s cabinet.

The Senate President Ahmad Lawan, Kashim Shettima, the vice president-elect, Godswill Akpabio, a former minister of Niger Delta affairs, and Abdullahi Ganduje, the governor of Kano, among others, welcomed the president-elect to Nigeria after his roughly 10-day trip to Europe.

Tinubu’s media adviser, Tunde Rahman, had previously stated that his boss would meet with investors and adjust transition strategies.

When President Muhammadu Buhari’s second term ends on May 29, the former governor of Lagos state is anticipated to take over.
