Coach Ali Zubair, a seasoned tactician, made a bold move in 2023 by transitioning from NPFL’s Gombe United to the NNL side El-Kanemi Warriors. Drawing from his roots, Zubair returned to his hometown to scout fresh talent, discovering standout players like Suleiman Alabi Jojo, a product of Laplanet FA, and Azeez Yusuf from Kwara Football Academy (KFA).
