Lady Killed, Womb Removed After Nightclub Outing In Ibadan

A young nurse who had just graduated from Lead City University was found dead with her womb missing in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.
The victim, Omoniyi Boluwatife, had been inducted into the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria on Tuesday, according to reports.

She had reportedly gone to a nightclub to celebrate her achievement on Tuesday night before she met her tragic end.

A viral video showed the lifeless body of Boluwatife lying on the ground.

A source who spoke on condition of anonymity told Pristinegist that Boluwatife had bid farewell to her mother who had travelled from Port Harcourt to join her in the celebration of her graduation.

He said, “Boluwatife was a member of my church, in fact, she testified about her graduation last week Sunday after she cleared the carry-over course delaying her graduation.

“She was a gentle person and I was shocked to hear the news of her death,” he said.

The nightclub where she allegedly went, Copacapana, issued a press statement on Friday, denying that the incident happened within their facility. They said they would not take responsibility for incidents that happen outside their premises. Also they expressed their sympathy for the victims and their families.

They said, “We are saddened by the tragic event that befell some customers after leaving our facility.

“However, as a nightclub, we cannot take responsibility for incidents that occur outside our premises. Although, our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.

“Our nightclub ensures the safety of all our patrons. Our venue is equipped with top-notch security systems making it one of the most protected facilities in the Ibadan city.

The Oyo State P.R.O DSP Adewale Osifeso, could not be reached for comment. As his phone was switched off as of the time of filing this report.”
