Lagos Mourns: 12-Year-Old, Woman, and Man Perish in Ebute Metta Building Tragedy

 

Tragedy struck today along Herbert Macaulay Way, Ebute Metta, Lagos, as a building collapsed, claiming the lives of a 12-year-old girl, a woman, and a man.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 am on Friday, sending shockwaves through the community.

Ibrahim Farinloye, the Head of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in Lagos, confirmed the heartbreaking incident.

He, however, stated that a rescue operation is currently underway to save any possible survivors trapped under the debris.
