Man Breaks Down On Radio After DNA Test Shows He Is Not The Father Of His Four Kids

A man from Ikire in Osun State was left devastated after a DNA test revealed that he is not the biological father of any of his four children.

The man, identified as Mr Kola, 44, agreed to undergo the test with his wife and kids on a live radio programme hosted by a popular presenter, Mr Oluwaseun.

The test was conducted at the DDC DNA Diagnostic Centre in Alakoko, Osogbo, and the result was announced on air by the presenter.

According to the result, Mr Kola was excluded as the biological father of all the four kids, aged 16, 12, 8 and 5, who were born by his wife, Toyin Arike.

The shocking revelation made Mr Kola burst into tears and lament his fate, saying he had been faithful to his wife and had spent his fortune on raising the kids.

He said, “I don’t know what to say. I am speechless. I have been married to Toyin for 18 years and we have four kids together. I love her and I love my kids. I have never cheated on her or doubted her. I have been working hard to provide for them and give them the best education. How can this happen to me? How can she do this to me?”

He added, “I want a retest. This can’t be true. These are my kids. They look like me. They have my blood. This is a mistake. This is a prank. Please tell me this is not real.”

However, his wife, Toyin, who was also on the programme, admitted that she had been unfaithful to her husband and that the kids were from different men.

She said, “I am sorry, Kola. I am sorry for everything. I know I have wronged you. I know I have betrayed you. But I did it for a reason. I did it because you were not always there for me. You were always busy with your work and your business. You didn’t have time for me and the kids. You didn’t show me love and affection. You didn’t make me happy.”

She continued, “I was lonely and I needed someone to fill the void in my life. I met different men who gave me what you couldn’t give me. They gave me attention, they gave me money, they gave me pleasure. They made me feel alive. I didn’t plan to have kids with them, but it happened. I am sorry, Kola. Please forgive me.”

The presenter, Mr Oluwaseun, who was visibly shocked by the drama, tried to calm down the situation and advised the couple to seek professional counselling and legal advice.

He said, “This is a very sad and unfortunate situation. I sympathise with Mr Kola and his kids. I also urge Mrs Toyin to repent and seek forgiveness from God and her husband. I advise them to go for counselling and legal advice on how to resolve this matter. I also advise other couples to be faithful and honest to each other and avoid situations that can lead to such tragedies.”
