Mohbad Dies After Nurse Injects Him, His Dj Testifies In Court
A coroner inquest in Ikorodu has heard how a popular singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as MohBad, died after a nurse injected him following a fight with his friend.
The singer’s disc jockey, Ajisegiri Ayobami, who was with him before he died, told the court on Wednesday that MohBad started vomiting the noodles his brother had cooked for him after the injection.
He said the singer had sustained a minor cut on his hand during a scuffle with his friend, Primeboy, on Sunday night, after they returned from a show in Ikorodu.
He said they tried to contact MohBad’s personal nurse, but she was unavailable, so they called another nurse who came to their house and gave him an injection.
He said MohBad was fine before the injection, but he collapsed and died on the way to the hospital.
He said he saw him being brought to the hospital on a bike, as there was no ambulance available.
The coroner adjourned the case for further hearing.
