Popular Nigerian disk jockey, Ayorinde Kehinde Okiki, better known as DJ Kaywise, has left his fans and colleagues in shock and fear with a disturbing post on his Instagram account.

 

The award-winning record producer, who has over 2.5 million followers on the social media platform, shared a cryptic message on Monday afternoon, September 13, 2023, suggesting that he was planning to take his own life.

 

“I’ll end it all by 9 pm tonight, I did my best,” he wrote, without giving any further explanation or context.

 

The post, which has since garnered over 100,000 likes and 50,000 comments, has sparked a wave of concern and sympathy from his fans and fellow celebrities, who pleaded with him to reconsider his decision and seek help.

 

Some of the notable names who commented on his post include Tiwa Savage, Davido, Wizkid, Olamide, Don Jazzy, and Burna Boy, among others. They all expressed their love and support for the DJ and urged him to stay strong.

 

DJ Kaywise has not responded to any of the comments or posted anything else on his Instagram account as of the time of writing this report. His phone number was also unreachable when contacted by our correspondent.
