Mr Macaroni Breaks Down in Tears as Celebrity Friends Throw Surprise Party for His 30th Birthday
Popular Nigerian actor, comedian and activist, Debo Adedayo, better known as Mr Macaroni, was overwhelmed with emotions as he was treated to a surprise birthday party by his celebrity friends and well-wishers.
The entertainer clocked 30 on May 3, 2023, and he took to his Instagram page to share a series of new photos to mark the occasion. However, he had no idea that his loved ones had planned something bigger for him.
In a series of videos reposted on Mr Macaroni’s Instagram stories, he was seen arriving at his party venue where he was greeted by a large crowd of people who shouted ‘happy birthday’ and showered him with hugs and gifts.
The event centre was beautifully decorated with balloons and banners displaying the celebrant’s photos and name. There were also posters that read ‘Freaky 30’, a reference to one of Mr Macaroni’s catchphrases.
More videos from the event showed Mr Macaroni sobbing uncontrollably as he appreciated the gesture from his friends and fans. He was evidently touched by the show of love and support from his loved ones who had gone out of their way to make his milestone age celebration a memorable one.
Some of the celebrities who graced the occasion include Lateef Adedimeji, Bovi, VJ Adams, Kiekie, Timi Agbaje, Broda Shaggi, Jide Awobona, Harmonie and many others.
Mr Macaroni is a trained thespian who rose to fame from his comic skits on social media, where he plays the role of a sugar daddy called ‘Daddy Wa’ or a sadistic lecturer called ‘Professor Hard Life’. He is also known for his social justice advocacy and his use of phrases like ‘Ooin’, ‘Freaky freaky’ and ‘You are doing well’.
