Nationwide League One Announces Closure of Club Registrations for 2024 Season

the Nationwide League One (NLO) Board has taken decisive action, directing the Secretariat, under the stewardship of Olusola Ogunlowo, to cease accepting any further registration fees from clubs. This decision follows a final extension window granted to all participating clubs.

Under the auspices of Article 2.01(3) of the league’s rules and regulations, it is mandated that all clubs must affiliate with a state and fulfill their annual registration fee obligation as determined by the NLO Board.

however, failure to comply with this requirement will result in the presumption of withdrawal from league participation.

As the league gears up for an exciting 2024 season, the NLO Secretariat is committed to enforcing these regulations to ensure a level playing field for all participating clubs.

meanwhile, the Secretariat will promptly release the names of all registered clubs, categorized into groups based on zonal and regional arrangements.

Furthermore, electronic fixtures for the forthcoming season are set to be unveiled two weeks ahead of the eagerly anticipated kick-off date on Saturday, April 13, 2024.

This proactive measure not only underscores the NLO’s dedication to upholding the principles of fair play and transparency but also sets the stage for an exhilarating season of football, showcasing the talents and aspirations of clubs from across the nation.

With anticipation building and preparations in full swing, football enthusiasts can look forward to a thrilling showcase of grassroots football excellence in the Nationwide League One.
