Nigerian Lady Dies On Egypt Air Flight To London

A young Nigerian lady, whose name has been withheld, has passed away on an Egypt Air flight from Lagos to London via Cairo.

The lady was travelling to London on a student visa and had boarded the Egypt Air MS 876 flight from the Murtala Muhammad International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos on Monday. She was supposed to connect to another Egypt Air flight, MS 777, to London the following day.

However, she died on board the flight before reaching Cairo, the capital of Egypt. The cause of her death is still unknown.

A family source who confirmed the incident said the airline did not inform them of her death, but they received a message from the consular office in Cairo.

“The family said the airline didn’t inform them, but rather they got a message from the consular office in Cairo informing them of her death on board the flight. Please they need to know what exactly happened and how to get her corpse back to Nigeria,” the source said.

The source also said the family was in shock and grief over the tragic loss of their loved one.

The airline has not issued any official statement on the incident as of the time of filing this report.

Egypt Air is the flag carrier airline of Egypt and operates flights to over 75 destinations in Africa, Europe, Asia, and North America.
