NPFL: Why I Urined On The Pitch, Muhammad Auwal Explains

Mohammed Auwal, the Shooting Stars Camp Commandant, has finally spoken out about the events that led to his terrible behavior, which resulted in the LMC suspending him from all NPFL-related activities for a year.

Our correspondent reported that on the approach to the field, the coach and players of Akwa United were confronted by Auwal Mohammed, who told them they would not be permitted to plant any voodoo before the game.

He was invited to join them for prayer in the center circle of the field by Akwa United Coach Mr. Ayeni, but he declined the request to clean his conscience.

Auwal hurried toward Ayeni to find out why they dumped what he characterized as “juju water” on the field shortly after Akwa had finished their prayers and sprayed what they termed as holy water on it.

Auwal was forced to urinate on the field to sanitize the area and neutralize the situation in order to protect his players.

In response to Auwal’s actions, Ayeni denied using juju water on the field and explained that the players instead used holy water to seal off their prayer point for a successful performance away from home.

In addition to the LMC fine, Shooting Stars has suspended Auwal.
