Npower Beneficiaries Demand Payment of 9-Month Unpaid Stipends Arrears

In a bold statement directed towards the Federal Government of Nigeria, the National Npower Beneficiaries Association of Nigeria (NNBAN) has called for urgent action regarding the unpaid stipends owed to Npower Batch C1 and C2 beneficiaries.

With an emphasis on the economic hardship faced by citizens, the association highlights the injustice of neglecting payments amidst the suspension of vital programs under the previous administration.

The association’s message, addressed to key governmental figures including the President, Vice President, Senate President, National Assembly, and Honorable Ministers, underscores the urgency of the situation.

It demands immediate attention to the overdue payments, citing the recent disbursement of #CCT/RRR funds while Npower beneficiaries continue to suffer.

The plea is not without grounds, as the association references the recovery of a substantial sum, amounting to 30 billion Naira, by former Humanitarian Minister Sadiya Faruq.

This fund, according to the association, is more than sufficient to clear all outstanding payments owed to Batch C1 and C2 beneficiaries.

Under the banner of “Enough is Enough,” the Npower beneficiaries assert their rights, stating firmly that they are not beggars but individuals entitled to their rightful earnings.

They urge the government to prioritize the settlement of their debts, emphasizing that preparation for the future is key to success.

As tensions rise and patience wears thin among Npower beneficiaries, the message serves as a stark reminder of the collective struggle faced by many in Nigeria.

The association’s call for action echoes the sentiments of countless individuals across the nation, underscoring the need for accountability and swift resolution to address the plight of those affected.

For Npower beneficiaries, the time for action is now, as they await a response from the federal government to alleviate their financial burdens and uphold their rights as citizens
