PASTOR APPREHENDED FOLLOWING THE DEATH OF FOUR FOLLOWERS WHO WERE STARVED ON HIS ORDERS

In a shocking turn of events, Kenyan police have arrested Pastor Makenzie Nthenge in connection with the death of four Good News International Church followers. Reports indicate that the pastor ordered his disciples to starve themselves to “meet Jesus,” which subsequently led to several hospitalizations and four fatalities.

Following a tip-off from concerned citizens, police raided the Shakahola forest, located near the Malindi town, where they discovered and promptly rushed eleven followers aged between 17 and 49 to the hospital, seven men and four women.

Tragically, four of the affected individuals passed away.

During his subsequent arrest, Pastor Nthenge reportedly surrendered to the police, who are holding him ahead of his Monday court appearance.

With investigations ongoing, police are said to be searching for possible graves in the forest of other victims who may have met the same fate.

This latest tragedy isn’t the first involving the Good News International Church leader.

In recent local media reports, the pastor was charged and apprehended last month after two children under his followers’ custody starved to death.
