The campaign office of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, in Port Harcourt, has been reopened.

The spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on the Presidential Campaign Management Committee, Senator Dino Melaye, has announced that the Campaign office of PDP in River State has been unclosed.

Dino announced this during a recent interview on Arise TV, monitored by POLITICS NIGERIA.

“Our own supporters and the leadership of the presidential campaign council went there, unsealed it, and moved in.”

“They’ve been operating from there since Saturday,” Dino added.

Remember that Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike on Friday took his disagreement with his party, the PDP, to another level when he shut the campaign office of Atiku.

This came up just a few days after the South-south Zonal office of the Presidential Campaign Council in the state was locked on December 20, 2022.

It was memorized that the Rivers State government sealed off the campaign office based on Executive Orders 21 and 22.

The office was closed for allegedly eliciting boisterous political activities in residential areas without the permission of the government.
