Police Bust Sex Worker Supplier To Bandits

PoS Operator Caught in Coordinated Sting Operation

Abuja, Nigeria – In a shocking turn of events, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police command has apprehended a Point of Sale (PoS) operator, Sunday Musa, alias Dan Gwari, for allegedly supplying sex workers to bandits in their camps. The suspect was also found to be involved in distributing money to the families of the bandits in Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

According to Commissioner of Police Benneth Igweh, the suspect was arrested during a coordinated clearance operation by the anti-kidnap unit of the command at Kagarko. Igweh revealed that Musa confessed to being the chief informant and logistics supplier to banditry groups under the command of one Ardo, who is currently on the run.

The suspect allegedly facilitated the movement of nurses, hard drugs, and sex workers on request by the banditry groups and distributed over N20 million to the bandits’ families. Additionally, a 41-year-old housewife, Ruqquaya Ibrahim, was arrested for supplying foodstuff and logistics to the bandits.

The police recovered 14 rustled cows from the residence of one of the bandit commanders, Shumau, who is currently evading arrest.

This bust is a significant breakthrough in the fight against banditry and kidnapping in the region. The police are urging residents to come forward with any information that can lead to the arrest of other suspects involved in these criminal activities.
