Okikiola Abeeb, the Zazu crooner, has mockingly challenged all rappers in a video he posted on his Instagram today, while Eriga and Ycee antagonized Wizkid for saying “rap is dead”.
Portable blamed rappers on the issue of “rap is dead”. He said that rap is dead because no rapper has made a hit from January to December.
He went further that rappers should link up with singers to make hits.
Contrary to what singer Portable said, Erigga posted that Wizkid, who is making it big, should not hinder others’ dreams as he discouraged rap music in public.
Ycee also faulted Wizkid that what he did was wrong. He stated that Machala should have considered the efforts made by rappers, which have yet to bring good funds for them. He continued that many rappers have played vital roles in blowing some singers and their songs; he used Maryokun and Kizz Daniel as examples.
