Portable Demands N100m From Olamide And Carter Efe For Helping His Ex-signee, Young Duu

The Nigerian music industry is witnessing another drama as controversial singer, Portable Omolalomi, has demanded a whopping N100M from Olamide and Carter Efe for helping his ex-signee, Young Duu.

Portable, who is the founder and CEO of Zeh Nation Records, claimed that he invested a lot of money and resources on Young Duu, who recently left his label after accusing him of maltreatment.

Portable said that he bought a car for Young Duu, paid for his medical bills, and gave him exposure and opportunities in the industry. He also said that he was the one who signed him and made him popular.

However, Young Duu, who is now being linked with Eh God Records, owned by Carter Efe, has denied Portable’s claims and accused him of physical assault, exploitation, and intimidation.

Young Duu said that Portable made him wash his cars, perform at shows for low fees, and refused to pay him his royalties. He also said that Portable destroyed his studio equipment and threatened his life.

Young Duu also clarified that he was not signed to Eh God Records yet, but only receiving help from Carter Efe, who is a friend of Olamide, the YBNL boss.

Portable, however, insisted that Young Duu was still under contract with him and that anyone who wanted to sign him would have to pay him N100M as compensation.

He said that he was following the example of Oladips, who paid Reminisce before leaving his label. He also warned Young Duu not to end up like a stray like Oladips.

Portable’s demand has sparked mixed reactions from fans and industry stakeholders, who have expressed their views on social media.

Some have supported Portable’s stance, saying that he deserved to be rewarded for his investment on Young Duu. Others have criticized him for being greedy, selfish, and unrealistic.

The saga between Portable and Young Duu is still unfolding as both parties are yet to reach an agreement or settle their differences amicably.
