Portable Pleads With God And Fans After Mohbad’s Death

 

Nigerian singer Portable has expressed his grief and fear following the tragic death of his fellow artist Mohbad, who was said to have died of an ear infection on Tuesday. Portable took to his Instagram account to share a video of himself praying to God and asking his fans to celebrate him while he is still alive.

 

“God, abeg oo, make I no die, make them dey promote my music. A closed mouth is a closed destiny. Abeg, all my fans, celebrate me when I still dey alive,” Portable said in the video, which has gone viral on social media.

 

Portable also paid tribute to Mohbad, who was one of the rising stars of the Nigerian music industry. He described him as a talented and humble person who always supported him.

 

“Mohbad, you are a legend. You are a great musician. You always helped me and encouraged me. You never looked down on me. You are gone too soon. Rest in peace, my brother,” Portable said.

 

Mohbad, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, died on Tuesday from an ear infection. He was 27 years old. He was known for his hit songs such as “KPK”, “Koma Jensun”, “Ponmo Sweet” and “Sorry”. He was signed to Naira Marley’s Marlian Music label.
