President Bola Tinubu has made the immediate past governors of Rivers and Ebonyi states, Nyesom Wike and Dave Umahi, undertake important ministerial roles.
Specifically, Nyesom Wike has been chosen to serve as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), a crucial position responsible for overseeing the development and administration of the nation’s capital.
On the other hand, Dave Umahi has been entrusted with the role of Minister of Works, a pivotal position focused on enhancing and maintaining the country’s infrastructure and transportation systems.
These appointments underscore President Tinubu’s commitment to utilizing the expertise and experience of these former governors in key areas of governance at the federal level.
