JAMB has rescheduled the ongoing Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination for candidates in 100 centers due to technical challenges experienced on Tuesday.

The rescheduling was announced by the Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, Fabian Benjamin, in Abuja. Over 1.6 million candidates were expected to take the examination across 700 centers.

However, candidates who were unable to take the exam due to technical reasons have been advised to print a new examination notification early the following day to know their new scheduled sessions.

The statement expressed regret for any inconvenience experienced by candidates and reiterated the board’s determination to deliver quality assessments in line with global best practices.

Lastly, it also stated that the technical challenges encountered were due to novel features deployed to prevent examination misconduct.
