Rashford Escapes Injury After Crashing £700k Rolls-Royce

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford was involved in a car accident on Saturday night, just hours after scoring the winning goal against Burnley.

The 24-year-old forward crashed his white Rolls-Royce Wraith, worth around £700,000, near the club’s training ground in Carrington. The luxury car was left badly damaged, with the front bumper smashed and the airbags deployed. A traffic island was also knocked over by the impact.

Rashford was not injured in the collision, but was said to be “shaken” by the incident. He was helped by his team-mate Bruno Fernandes, who stopped his car to check on him. Police officers also arrived at the scene and spoke to both drivers.

A source close to Rashford told the Telegraph: “Marcus was involved in an accidental collision with another vehicle on his way home from Carrington last night. Both drivers walked away unhurt. No ambulance was required.”

Rashford and his team-mates had returned from Turf Moor on a team coach after securing a 1-0 victory over Burnley in the Premier League. Rashford scored the only goal of the game in the 89th minute, taking his tally to 10 goals in all competitions this season.

The England international is expected to be fit for United’s next match against Leicester City on Wednesday, as they look to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.

Rashford is one of the highest-paid players at United, earning around £200,000 per week. He is also known for his charitable work, especially his campaign to end child food poverty in the UK. He was awarded an MBE last year for his efforts.
