Senator Lola Ashiru Injects 15 Million Naira into Alajobi Cooperative Society to Boost Small and Medium Scale Enterprises

Kwara South Senatorial District – In a significant move to support Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs), Senator Lola Ashiru, representing Kwara South Senatorial District, has injected 15 million Naira into the Alajobi Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society.

This financial boost is aimed at benefiting its members and enhancing their business operations.

After thoroughly reviewing the business plans of each applicant, many of which aim to expand existing businesses, Senator Ashiru expressed strong confidence that the non-interest finance would provide crucial support to keep these enterprises afloat amidst the current challenging economic conditions.

Since the reintroduction of the Alajobi Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society, various beneficiaries have received empowerment in the form of tricycles, motorcycles, and monetary cash during the first and second phases of the initiative. The third batch of beneficiaries is now set to receive similar support.

“I wish the beneficiaries of this third batch the best as they thrive in their various businesses,” stated Senator Ashiru, reaffirming his commitment to the economic development and empowerment of his constituents.

This initiative underscores Senator Ashiru’s dedication to fostering economic growth and supporting the livelihoods of small business owners in Kwara South.
