Sensational Singer Cynthia Morgan Arrested for Cyberstalking of Benin Prince

Evidence

In a shocking turn of events, the Edo State Police Command has reportedly taken into custody the renowned singer, Cynthia Morgan, amid accusations of cyberstalking Prince Ezelekhae Ewuare of Benin. The arrest, which occurred on Monday, follows allegations that Morgan has been persistently pursuing the prince online since 2020, claiming he haunts her dreams.

The incident came to light through an Instagram post by local blogger @Edopride, who uploaded footage of Morgan’s apprehension at her residence. Further stirring the controversy, the blogger disclosed a petition addressed to CP Funsho Adegboye, titled “Defamation, cyberstalking and harassment of Prince Ezelekhae Ewuare by Cynthia Ikponmwenosa Morgan,” dated May 4, 2024.

The document alleges that Morgan has been relentlessly attempting to contact the prince against his wishes, escalating to defamatory statements on social media when her advances were ignored. Despite a solicitor’s letter urging Morgan to cease her actions, the harassment reportedly persisted.

Prince Ewuare, asserting his right to privacy, has sought to end Morgan’s intrusive behaviour. However, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, the state Police Public Relations Officer, could not confirm the arrest, stating a lack of briefing on the matter.

The narrative intertwines with Morgan’s recent allegations against a former lover and her insistence on her innocence regarding any intimate relationship with the prince. In response to the prince’s legal threats, Morgan has stood firm, expressing remorse over her discretion in protecting someone she now resents.

As the saga unfolds, Morgan is preparing to share her account in a comprehensive interview, promising to unveil details of her initial encounter with Prince Ezuare back in 2018.
