Intense clash is underway in Ukraine as Russia presses an offensive in the country’s eastern region, with about 20 towns and villages under fire as of Wednesday, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The battle for Bakhmut there has continued to turn severe. Russian forces are reportedly losing up to 100 soldiers a day. Ukrainians are also losing heavily as the fight for the strategic eastern region only gets hotter.
The battle is coming after several months of conflict between Russia and Ukraine, which has already seen several lives lost on both sides.
