Sex Scandal In Church: Police Arrest 2 For Having Sex In Police College Church
Two friends (a man and a woman) were caught red-handed having sex in a church premises in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state, on Monday.
The police arrested the duo, identified as Kaka Ali Umar and Khadija Adam, after they were tipped off by the security man of the All Denominations (ADC) Church Police College, where the illicit act took place.
The Reverend in charge of the church, Danjuma Adamu, confirmed the incident and said that he was shocked and disgusted by the sacrilegious behaviour of the suspects. He said that Khadija confessed to being paid N1,000 by Kaka Ali for a quickie.
A security source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that the suspects were being interrogated at the Metro police station and would soon be charged to court for fornication and trespassing.
The incident has caused outrage and condemnation among the residents of the area, who described it as an abomination and a disgrace to the church and the society.
