Social Welfare: Governor Abdulrahman Disburses ₦500 Million in Cash Support to Residents

In a significant move to alleviate the economic impact of the recent fuel subsidy removal, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq has initiated the disbursement of ₦25,000 to 20,000 beneficiaries under the state’s Social Protection Program.

The beneficiaries, who were previously verified and registered through the Kwara State Social Investment Program (KWASSIP), led by Dr. Tejidini Abdulwasiu Olayinka, have begun receiving their payments.

This initiative is part of Governor Abdulrasaq’s broader humanitarian efforts to support the citizens of Kwara State. By prioritizing the welfare of all Kwarans, irrespective of political affiliations, the governor aims to create a more inclusive and supportive environment during these challenging times.

The cash support program underscores the administration’s commitment to mitigating the financial strain caused by policy changes and ensuring that every resident of Kwara State has access to necessary resources.

Governor Abdulrasaq’s proactive measures reflect his dedication to building the “Kwara of our dreams,” where the needs of the people are met with prompt and effective action.
