Super Eagles Mascot,Arabambi Honors Governor Abdulrahman’s Son

Ilorin, Kwara State – In a gesture of appreciation and encouragement for sports development, Bashir Hameed, popularly known as Arabambi, the mascot for the Super Eagles and Kwara United, presented a Super Eagles jersey and a supporters’ jersey to Faruk AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq, the son of the Kwara State Governor.

today 15th of July 2024, the presentation took place during a scouting program held at the Kwara State Stadium, Ilorin.

Insisting on the presence of Mallam Bola Mogaji, the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Arabambi emphasized Mogaji’s pivotal role in the state’s sports sector, referring to him as the “father of sports in Kwara State.”

Olatunbosun Abayomi, the Secretary of the Super Eagles Supporters Kwara State Chapter, was also present, along with other executives who participated in the jersey presentation. Arabambi expressed his gratitude to Faruk for facilitating the significant scouting program aimed at developing sports and empowering the youth in Kwara State.

Abayomi echoed this sentiment, urging Faruk to continue supporting sports initiatives within Kwara State and at the national level.

In response, Faruk AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq appreciated the gift and extended his gratitude to Arabambi and everyone involved in the ceremony. He acknowledged the importance of such programs for the growth of sports and youth development in the region.
