A prominent socio-political group, TeamNigeria4Change, led by Otunba Bestman Nze-Jumbo, has extended warm felicitations to Muslims across Nigeria on the joyous occasion of this year’s Sallah celebration.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Otunba Bestman Nze-Jumbo, President of TeamNigeria4Change, congratulated Muslims for celebrating Eid-el-Kabir in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility nationwide. He emphasized the importance of this festive period as a time for reflection, gratitude, and communal harmony.
Nze-Jumbo called upon Nigerians to offer prayers and supplications for their leaders, particularly President Bola Tinubu, to enable them to make positive and impactful decisions for the benefit of all citizens. He highlighted the notable achievements of President Tinubu within his first 12 months in office, despite the myriad challenges facing the nation.
The TeamNigeria4Change leader also praised Lagosians for their steadfast support of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, acknowledging his efforts in delivering the dividends of democracy across the state’s 20 local government areas and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) over the past five years. Nze-Jumbo commended the governor’s commitment to infrastructure development, social welfare, and economic growth.
To mark the Eid-el-Kabir celebration, TeamNigeria4Change organized a food distribution initiative targeting vulnerable members of the society. This gesture, according to Nze-Jumbo, reflects the group’s dedication to supporting the less privileged and fostering a sense of community during significant religious festivities.
“During this period of Eid-el-Kabir, let us unite in our prayers for our leaders and country. Together, we can overcome our challenges and build a prosperous nation,” Nze-Jumbo concluded.
